Tami, a California native, received her BS degree in Nutrition from California State University, Long Beach. A Registered Dietitian since 2006, she has spent the last 10 years in private practice helping her clients achieve their health and wellness goals through an individualized patient-centered approach.
Her expertise is in the areas of weight loss, diabetes, food sensitivities and disease management. Inflammation is the root cause of all disease, so using a combination of specialty lab testing, therapeutic diets, detoxification programs and supplements, she is able to help alleviate chronic health conditions such as food sensitivities, auto-immune conditions, chronic fatigue, heart disease, etc.
Her weight management program has had tremendous success by providing a personalized program that suits each client's specific lifestyle, health conditions and goals. Before my sessions with Tami, I had a very hard time sticking to my diet. I tried to limit my calories and thought that as long as I stayed within my allotted calories I would lose weight. While that may be technically true – I was always hungry and it was very hard to limit my calories based on the food I was eating.
Tami taught me that not all calories are created equal. She designed a sensible plan for me that was very easy to follow. I am still following the plan over a year later, and have never once felt hungry or deprived. I have lost over 60 pounds and feel better than I ever. I am very grateful to Tami and her help in the achievement of my goals.
